Does Jumpmaster Press funnel manuscripts into "A.I. Training"?

No. Jumpmaster Press does not funnel any manuscripts to train Artificial Intelligence. One of our missions is to protect the author's intellectual property (IP) as best we can. Jumpmaster Press does not own the manuscript and makes no claim of ownership to any manuscript we publish, distribute, or sell in our retail bookstore.

Does Jumpmaster Press allow authors to submit content if they used A.I. tools?

Jumpmaster Press discourages the use of A.I. Generative Writing Tools in the creation of any manuscript. Any manuscript generated, completely or in part, with the use of A.I. Generative Writing Tools will not be accepted. Any manuscript found to use such tools after publication will have their publishing agreements terminated.

Does Jumpmaster Press allow cover art generated by A.I.?

Yes. Jumpmaster Press has recently started allowing graphic designers and artists to use A.I. design tools in their workflow. We still encourage the use of human graphic designers and artists in the creation of cover art, but understand the financial constraints many authors experience when commissioning custom artwork.

Shipping Policy:

How does Jumpmaster Press Calculate Shipping?

Jumpmaster Press uses ShipStation™ for all customer shipping, including international. The costs from ShipStation™ are delivered directly from our corporate carriers, The United States Post Office (USPS) and United Parcel Service (UPS). The shipping costs we receive from ShipStation™ after validating the customer's address is based on the overall weight of the order.

Does Jumpmaster Press add additional fees?

No. Jumpmaster Press does not add any additional fees to the cost of shipping provided by our corporate carriers, (ie., handling, storage, materials, etc.)

As prices rise in every aspect of our lives, seemingly out of control, I felt the need to speak directly to you regarding this issue. As stated above, our shipping costs come from our corporate carriers and vary depending on location and weight. Unfortunately, there is very little Jumpmaster Press can do to deter these costs from going ever higher.

We've explored every viable option to reduce the costs we pass on to you and feel our current model remains the best. If a solution presents itself to reduce the price you pay for shipping, we will explore it.

Damage caused during shipping?

Unfortunately, accidents happen, and in rare cases a package may arrive damaged while in shipping. Jumpmaster Press takes every reasonable precaution in packaging each book we ship. For single book orders, we use padded envelopes. For multi-book orders, our shipping department uses 10" x 7" shipping boxes with additional packing paper, where applicable.

Even so, if a package is delivered damage, it is the responsibility of the carrier, not Jumpmaster Press. We will do everything within reason to resolve the situation to the customer's satisfaction.

We will file a claim with the shipping carrier. Once that claim is resolved, we will ship a replacement product.

Does Jumpmaster Press use shipping insurance?

Typically, each package we ship insured by the carrier up to a certain amount. Jumpmaster Press does not add additional shipping insurance, unless arranged prior to shipment buy the customer.
